WHERE TO EAT
This list is long and ever changing - some of our nearby faves and other spots worth travelling for
Jujus Beach Bar
A few minutes south by car you will see Lonestar restaurant (also amazing but $$$) and a few doors down with a little alleyway down to the sea you find Jujus. They close pretty early for dinner but have food all day.
OISTINS FISH MARKET - FRED'S BAR
The busiest night at Oistins is Friday - but you can visit other days too if you are not into the crowds. We love Fred's bar which is along the roadside with picnic table out front. The long drive is worth the experience.

WHAT TO DO
There are so many amazing things to do in Barbados. We will continue to add to this list, but here are a few of our favourites!
SNORKELLING WITH TURTLES
Rather than hop on a catamaran with the crowds, we suggest to call up Unseen Barbados who will take you to a little spot away from crowds (not too far from Sea Glass Villa) and allow you to swim with the turtles using a SEABOB. 246.283.3333 or unseen.barbados@gmail.com
DAYS AT THE BEACH
If you really want to lounge it up, check out One Eleven in Speightstown, Lonestar or Jujus at Alleynes Bay or the chair rentals at Reed's bay just a few minutes north of the villa. All locations have chairs, food, drinks and amazing sand.
SHOPPING
If you happen to get a rainy day, check out the Limegrove Luxury mall in Holetown. Some great shopping (many stores have duty free deals), cute cafes and bars and even in movie theatre if you need to escape the heat.
ISLAND TOUR
There are plenty of open air trucks you can hire to tour around the island. We recommend hiring a car during your stay especially if you want to see the East Coast or head up to Animal Flower Cave. If you want something truly instagram-worthy, you could rent a mini Moke.
WHAT TO SEE
As you adventure around the island there are a few sights that stand out off the beaten path.
ST. JOHN'S PARISH CHURCH
A beautiful historic church and graveyard with spectacular views of the East Coast.
CODRINGTON COLLEGE
While you are on the East Coast, check out the college - historic Anglican Theological college with manicured grounds and an impressive driveway lined with coconut trees.
ANIMAL FLOWER CAVE
Drive north into St. Lucy and you'll see a totally different side of Barbados. Grab a bite to eat in Moontown on your way up to Animal Flower cave.
